If there’s one thing almost twelve years of mediation has taught me, it’s that things are seldom what they seem. People tend to hide behind excuses when they are in conflict. And that can make it hard to figure out what they really want and need. So, while it takes some practice, it’s well worth developing the fine art of identifying the REAL issues of conflict. In this episode, we’re going to discuss some practical ways to drill down to those real issues. Usually, “it’s not about the couch.”
